About Us

The Home Helper Magazine

We have two goals that drive us here at The Home Helper. One is being the “go-to” resource for locals and visitors, with an informative guide to all our amazing local businesses, and a “what’s-on” directory for the region.

A corner-stone of the region, in 2022 The Home Helper was purchased by local entrepreneur Rebecca Lang, who revamped it ready for a new successful chapter!  Now not the perfect resource for finding amazing local businesses, it’s also a wealth of health, wellbeing, home and pet care advice!

The Home Helper magazine is distributed throughout the Bundaberg region including Bundaberg, Moore Park Beach, Burnett Heads, Bargara, Innes Park, the Hummock, Coral Cove, Elliott Heads, Gin Gin, Childers, Mount Perry and more.  Delivered to our online database of residents, as well as selected local venues and locations in hard-copy, a new edition of The Home Helper magazine is released every month, reaching a potential audience of over 63,750 local residence and visitors.

*Calculation method is based on circulation across all sites combined print and digital data during a 12 months period.

Well known local business owner Rebecca Lang stepped up and purchased The Home Helper in 2022, as she knew how important the magazine was to the local area. As an entrepreneur running three local businesses, she saw first-hand the positive effect the magazine had on her own businesses.  She knew there was a huge potential here for other local businesses, so decided to buy the magazine and revamp it!

Not only a successful business owner, Rebecca is well-versed in publishing, having co-authored three books.

Originally from Perth, she’s been a local resident for over 20 years.  She is the owner of Bargara Beach Holistic Health, Of The Earth Juice Bar & Health Shop, and this magazine, The Home Helper.  Rebecca is passionate about supporting local business owners to grow their businesses, and as she loves the local community, supports the promotion of local events through the magazine.

Pop in and visit at the health clinic or juice bar – Rebecca and the the team would love to say hi!
